1. Business Structure Disclosure
Be The Change Society operates as a for-profit LLC, not a registered nonprofit organization.
Purchases are commercial transactions
Donations are voluntary contributions
Donations are NOT tax-deductible
2. Revenue & Donation Model
For merchandise sales:
Revenue remaining after costs, taxes, and fees is split:
70% company profit
30% allocated to a donation fund (minimum)
Additional contributions to the donation fund are made based on order thresholds:
Orders over $64.99 → +$5 added to donation
Orders over $129.99 → +$10 added to donation
Orders over $194.99 → +$15 added to donation
Orders over $259.99 → +$20 added to donation
These contributions are made at the Company’s discretion as part of its strict internal giving model.
3. Donation Policy
All donations are final and non-refundable
Donations go into a designated donation fund
Funds are used strictly for community support initiatives at the Company’s discretion
Donations do not establish any legal claim, ownership, or control over funds
All donations made and put into the donation fund are not to be touched by anyone until community incentives are going to be completed.
4. Transparency Disclaimer
We aim to provide transparency through:
A public ledger
Donation counters
However:
Updates may not be real-time
Errors or delays may occur
Figures are for informational purposes only, not legal financial statements
5. Orders & Fulfillment
Orders are fulfilled by third-party providers (e.g., Printify)
We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers or production issues
Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information
6. Intellectual Property
All website content, branding, and materials are owned by the Company and may not be used without permission.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Use of the website is at your own risk
8. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
